單純皰疹病毒的致病機轉:單純皰疹病毒(Herpes simplex virus)可引起原發性及潛在性感染,第一型(HSV-1)主要引起口腔感染。本研究室主要利用病毒學、免疫學、細胞及分子生物學等技術,探討HSV-1的致病機轉,包括:病毒感染口腔細胞之影響,及HSV-1與牙周病及牙周致病菌之間可能的關係。
